When the first recession hit, I chose to see it as an opportunity to go into business for myself. I chose something that would allow me to provide a good life for my family and help the community at the same time. That was thirteen years ago. During those thirteen years, I’ve learned a lot, and gained a lot of valuable experience. Experience means trying new methods until you find those that are both the fastest and the most effective.
In addition to experience, another reason my business has been able to thrive is my philosophy regarding customer service. Establishing effective communication with my clients is one of the most important aspects of my business. Every client has their own individual style, so understanding exactly what they want before we begin has proven to be essential. It’s also been a great way to get to know people better. Meeting new people and getting to know them is one of the best fringe benefits of my business.
My experience, my professional ethics, and taking pride in my work have allowed me to consistently meet and exceed my clients’ expectations and guarantee the high quality of my services. The only thing more satisfying than the feeling of a job well done are the appreciative smiles I get from satisfied customers. My formula for achieving job satisfaction has been understanding what my clients want and delivering timely high-quality service. In the process, I learned that the formula for job satisfaction is also the formula for success. That success has allowed me to spend more quality time with my family doing things we enjoy. My work enables my customers to do the same. I feel fortunate that my business provides a way for me to participate in creating so many win-win situations.
